Congratulations "Moonlight" for winning best picture!  Here is a song that I remixed a while back that was actually featured in the movie.  It was also featured in Pedro Almodovar's Habla Con Ella. This is a Latin American classic done by Brazilian crooner Caetano Velososo. This version is more ear friendly than the original remix I did in 2005. I also added  Maya  Angelou's poem I Rise over an organ. This was definitely inspired by this great movie.  Enjoy!

Congratulations Louie Vega on your Grammy nomination. It's nice to know that House music, specially Deep House still thrives and sounds very healthy to our ears. Inside and outside of our houses.  It's quite a feast to have such an amazing line up of legendary house vocalist such as Jocelyn Brown, Adeva,  Caron Wheeler, Kenny Bobien, Soul Clap just to name a few for this beautifully produced tracks from this legendary House music DJ/Producer.
